NetPoint is used to achieve single sign on, provide LDAP driven identity management and web resource access control across an enterprise and in B2Bs. Work involved working with engineering, sales, marketing, professional services and technical publication teams to identify technical requirements in deploying across enterprises, directories, network operating systems, ERPs, portals and other web based applications. Created three sets of electronic consulting level documents of 350 pages on authentication, single sign on, authorization, identity management and web and directory system implementation. Also produced MS Project files of over 2400 possible tasks in deploying the product through multiple scenarios.

Work included creating and leading teams for requirements definition, retail systems analysis, ECR analytics and systems requirements, SAP ERP/BIW systems integration, transaction systems meta data definitions, large volume Teradata data warehouse architecture and systems configuration, business case preparation, unified intranet, integration of Documentum into intranet and extranets and new knowledge based product creation. Work included project management with multiple vendors and many internal teams. Vendors included NCR Teradata, SAP BIW, Cognos, ETI, Equifax and NDS. In addition to the data, retail and web teams I wrote 13 white papers on internal reengineering and created specifications for 6 new information based products. Business to business initiatives included web-based EDI, extranet creation with lotteries for reporting and data transmission. ECR initiatives included proposing new replenishment, assortment and promotions strategies and systems. Components of this included product velocity assessments, linkage of ECR analytics to lottery call-center and retail key accounts, one to one system analysis, assortment measurement and analysis and retailer site selection modeling.
